Miele Repair

Miele appliances are designed for a 20-year service life — and that's true only if they're maintained by people who know the platform. We're factory-trained, OEM-parts-only, every Miele line.

Miele repair across the San Fernando Valley.

Miele appliances are designed and engineered to a different standard. A Miele G7000 dishwasher is rated for 10,000 wash cycles — roughly 22 years of daily use. A Miele W1 washer is similarly rated. The catch: only a properly serviced Miele lasts that long. Skipped descales, neglected gaskets, and the wrong replacement parts will cut a Miele’s life in half.

We service Miele the way Miele intends:

OEM parts, no exceptions. Miele parts are not interchangeable with other brands’ parts even when they look similar. A Bosch heater element will physically fit a Miele dishwasher and will fail in 6 months. We use Miele-spec parts on every Miele service call.

Service mode is not optional. Modern Miele appliances have a deep service-mode menu that records every fault, every cycle, and every component health stat. We read it on every visit. The diagnostic information is genuinely useful and prevents guessing.

Maintenance pays. Miele recommends specific maintenance intervals: monthly heat-pump dryer condenser cleaning, every-3-month dishwasher filter inspection, annual washer machine-care cycle. We offer service plans that hit these intervals and add years to unit life.

Repair vs. replace

Miele appliances under 12 years old are virtually always worth repairing. Past 15 years, parts can become slow to source on some lines (especially the older G5000 dishwashers). We’ll tell you if your specific model is in the parts-friendly window.

After 16 years on these units, here's what we see most.

G7000 dishwasher 'F11' or 'F14' fault on screen

What's actually happening: F11 = drain pump or check valve fault. F14 = water-supply fault. Each requires Miele-specific diagnostic procedure.

The right fix: Pull bottom panel, inspect check valve and drain pump (F11) or test inlet flow rate at the unit (F14). Miele G7000 service requires the right tool to release the front kick panel without scratching.

W1 washer drum bearing rumble

What's actually happening: Worn rear bearing — rare on Miele but happens around year 12 with heavy use. Different assembly than other front-loaders.

The right fix: Bearing replacement on a W1 is a 5-hour job because the drum design is different. We do these in your laundry room, never in a shop. The repair is worth doing — a Miele W1 will run another 8 years after.

T1 heat-pump dryer running long cycles

What's actually happening: Clogged condenser coils (the heat-pump unit has a fine filter that needs monthly cleaning), failed condensate pump, or a refrigerant issue.

The right fix: Clean condenser thoroughly, test condensate pump, evaluate sealed system. Heat-pump dryers are different from vented — different parts, different procedure.

Generation 7000 wall oven won't reach setpoint

What's actually happening: Failed bake element, drifted oven thermistor, or — on M-Touch units — a control board with a degraded sensor input.

The right fix: Element resistance test, swap thermistor (Miele OEM only — generic ones drift), replace control board if needed.

MasterCool fridge running but compressor cycling fast

What's actually happening: Failed condenser fan motor, dirty condenser, or low refrigerant in the sealed system.

The right fix: Pressure-test sealed system, clean condenser, replace fan motor. MasterCool fridges are repairable into year 18+ if the sealed system is intact.

CM6/CM7 coffee machine 'descale' message persistent

What's actually happening: Scaled internal water lines, failed water sensor, or descale procedure not completed correctly.

The right fix: Run Miele descale program with Miele descaler (not vinegar — we test water hardness too), inspect water sensor. We service CM6 and CM7 in-home.
